Summary 0000013: man pages / manual command section reuse
Description Would be nice if the command reference and config section of the manual could be split out in a seperate files so the can be included into <command>.smgl files.

 Nice idea.

But I have no idea how to do this for the command reference currently. I'd really like to auto-create this from the sources. Perhaps I should create some doxygen->docbook converter?

 Well, "to be done next" can be relative sometimes... :-}

But now it's really implemented in CVS. Sorry for the long delay, but you know - programmers like it more to fiddle around with Python/C++ than with DocBook/XSLT & Co. ;-))

 reopening this bug so that we don't forget to implement man page installation if we switch to SCons as build system

 Implemented in Autoconf based build system.

Hartmut: please implement installation of man pages in SCons.

 Hartmut: as more things are missing in SCons currently and we agreed to not support it that soon: can we close this bug?

 this is fixed in the currently used make environment, so closing this bug.
