(0000046) gernot 2003-08-10 11:43	To the first problem: Could you please see if "capiinfo" reports an error? I can't imagine that you can send faxes when the logs say "capi not installed". When this error occurs, CapiSuite should finish and do nothing. To the 2nd one: capisuitefax currently only supports immediate sending of a fax document, so you can't change the send time. Seems like kdeprintfax recognizes this.

I made some more tests and found the following: I can send fax to outside (inside is anyway OK) if I connect the ISDN-Card directly to the PSTN-ISDN. (0000053) Heliko 2003-08-13 09:19	The test with autoacces set in the pabx (dialing to outside without a 0) was also negatif, nothing happens.

(0000055) gernot 2003-08-17 16:40	So is this log showing a successful or failed try? I at least can't see a problem there. Could you please also show the error.log containing this curious "capi not installed" message? Or doesn't it occur any more? Does it contain something else from the time you sent a fax which failed?

(0000057) guest 2003-08-21 17:26	There is no succesfull try to the extarnal isdn line, nothing happens and that is the log. At 17:20:15 2003 it says Connection 0x81f4018: Connection Object created ..., and at 17:21:16 it says disconnect initiated, But nothing happens, no fax has been send to any number, I can check this at the log of the PABX which doesnt shows any action in that time. The "capi not installed" occurs only once.

(0000063) Heliko 2003-08-26 15:00	Yes, that is possible. I am connected via a dsl-router (smc) to t-online, may be I´ll have to take the dmz-mode. Tell me what to do and when. I have an account as Heliko. My problem actually is that after some harware change I don´t get any fax transmitted, also not as before to a local pabx subscriber. Is it worth to check under this condition, or should I first try to get the simple connection work? Thanks for you help. Heliko

(0000064) Heliko 2003-08-26 17:58	OK, I got it fixed, it works "as usual", internal Ok, but no fax connection via PSTN, and in Windows with Fritz!fax both ok.

(0000067) Heliko 2003-09-04 17:46	Gernot, did you misunderstand me? I still have the problem that capisuite don´t work with the PABX. What I fixed was the fact that it didn´t work at all. So what about you idea of to debug it via a remote shell connection? Helmut

(0000073) gernot 2003-10-04 15:44	Ok, this was quite interesting. ;-) The PBX (Euracom 182) rejected the outgoing calls because the calling party number was sent wrongly. This is an error in the old CapiSuite 0.4, which was fixed in CapiSuite 0.4.2. From NEWS: 0.4.2 (CVS tag CAPISUITE_042): ============================== [...] * core: small bug which lead to a wrong outgoing MSN in rare cases fixed An update to 0.4.3 fixed the problem...
