2. Please try to call the command "mail" in a shell as the user who should receive the fax. What does it display?

Ich habe identisch. (Suse 9.1, Fritz!)
Konsole -> sffview -> Datei -> xxx.sff
und ... Konsole: (sffview:8442): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid cast from `GdkPixmap' to `GdkWindow'

sffview is not working in SUSE 9.1. Sorry for that...

I'll upload fixed packages to my server soon. SUSE is also thinking about how to make an update for 9.1 that fixes this bug (because it's not too easy to fix without breaking many other packages).

At least, it's now tested and proven to work in the upcoming SUSE 9.2...

updated sffview packages are now available in my download section which should fix this bug. Please test - and if the packages don't fix the bug, please reopen this report!
