| Summary | 0000099: Conversion from TIFF to PS fails due to "Integer overflow in TIFFVTileSize" | ||||||||
| Description |
Since updating libtiff from 3.5.7 to 3.6.1 (with patches) tiff2ps was unable to convert tiff-files produced by sfftobmp (2.2) to PS. The conversion failed with the error "Integer overflow in TIFFVTileSize". Updating sfftobmp to 3.0 solved the problem but requires cs_helpers.py to be adjusted to the new commandline-format of sfftobmp 3.0. It may be that this error is Gentoo specific due to patches in libtiff (Gentoo's package is called "media-libs/tiff"). But since sfftobmp 2.2 is no longer available at sourceforge, I thought it would be a good idea to change it permanently. If this is already done in a younger version than 0.4.4, my apologies for filing an already solved bug. |

| Additional Information | I've attached a patch for the necessary change in cs_helpers.py | ||||||||
